End Pop Task – A new UNIQUE pop-up blocker engine
Not long after you start
browsing the internet, the term "pop-up" defines itself. You're at a website and
another window pops up out of nowhere. Pop-ups are usually annoying
advertisements that waste a lot of your time while searching for the close box.
They can also slow your internet connection speed since the windows have data
that needs to be transmitted to you . But... pop-ups can be desirable too.
Although there are hundreds of
pop-up blockers available, almost all of them lack a reliable method to avoid
blocking good pop-ups without predefinition. Many users prefer to do without
popup blockers because of this shortage.
But in EndTask, we believe we have introduced a new concept for blocking pop-ups
to solve this problem.
This article highlights the
key features of End Pop Task in comparison to other pop-up blockers. End Pop
Task is the pop-up blocker engine of EndTask family of products.

Never lose a popup
When
End Pop Task detects a pop-up, it will not kill it; instead, it will hide it.
You're given information about the popup in small window and you can decide
whether to show it or just leave it hidden for End Pop Task to block it
automatically after few seconds. You can even take a quick peek if you're not
sure.
Thus, you can show good pop-ups, while preventing bad ones from passing in.
Although the pop-up page is actually loading when it's hidden, End Pop Task
still saves your bandwidth. That's because pop-ups are closed automatically
after a few seconds, as mentioned before, even if they didn't complete loading.
End Pop Task also hides one pop-up at a time and blocks the others, it's very
rare that a good site will display more than one good pop-up at a time.
Powerful Blocker
End
Pop Task is a browser-independent engine; it doesn't investigate the details of
the web pages code. Thus it features a powerful pop-up blocker that's not fooled
by new coding tricks. As long as the pop-up is a window, it will be blocked.
Moreover, the browser-independency of End Pop Task allows it to work without the
need to install a proxy server, plug-in or toolbar.
Works on almost all browsers
Because End Pop Task is a
browser-independent engine, it can work on almost all browsers. For instance, to
add RealPlayer Browser to EndTask, follow these steps:
1. Open EndTask, choose
'End Pop Task' from the left panel.
2. Choose 'Browsers
List' Tab
3. Click 'Add' button
4. In 'Browser Path'
type the path of RealPlayer program, say: c:\program files\real\realplayer\realplay.exe.
5. Press 'Add' button;
restart RealPlayer if it is already running.
Done! End Pop Task should now
block pop-ups from RealPlayer Browser. If you are using Basic or Pro editions,
you can simply run Real Player, right-click RealPlayer program in the 'Task
Manager', and choose 'Send to Browsers List' instead of typing the path by
yourself.
Can't be detected by webmasters
End Pop Task hides pop-ups
instead of closing them instantly; consequently it can't be detected by
webmasters. Some webmasters try to run a code on their page to check if you have
a pop-up blocker installed in your system. Webmasters may do this check to
prevent you from visiting their page, or to display ads in another way other
than pop-ups.
