Risk Monitor (Pro edition) (For Win NT/2000/XP Only)

Viewing Risk Monitor Tool

To view Risk Monitor, click Risk Monitor button in the left toolbar in Main Window.

Risk Monitor allows you to monitor the risky functions of a running process as well as its CPU usage. When you monitor a program, EndTask installs a hook that detects many risky functions once the program uses them, it also provides you with extra information about that functions call. For example, if the program deleted a registry key, EndTask log this event and will provide you with the name of the key that has been deleted.

To monitor a process, simply double-click the desired process in Running Programs list box. If you want to add a program that is currently running, choose Add Inactive Program and EndTask will automatically monitor it once it runs.

To remove a process, select the desired process in Programs under Monitoring list box.

To view the monitoring results, double-click the desired process in Programs under Monitoring list box. This will display Program's Details window which displays the monitoring results.

To create a log file containing monitoring results, view Logs and select Risk Monitor.
